Art for Youth Oxford is a charity art exhibition to raise funds for UK Youth.

Contemporary, affordable art from new and established artists

Open at selected times from 15th - 20th June 2010

Art for Youth Oxford has been running now for 2 years with over £60k of art sold and around £25k raised to support the work of UK Youth as well as local Oxford based youth charities Base 33 and The Art Room.

Cazenove Capital Management and Savills have kindly offered their support again in sponsorship and Summer Fields School will be hosting the event for the third year.

Entry will once again be ticket or invitation only and the work on show is expected to include oil
paintings, watercolours, photographs, jewellery and sculpture at prices ranging from £100 - £2000.  Prints and unframed portfolio work will also available.  Artists donate 35% of their sales to the charity.

Mystery Pictures will also be on sale. These are mounted, postcard-sized artworks priced at £30 each but the buyer will only know who the artist is after the picture had been bought.  All proceeds from the Mystery Pictures go to the charity.

UK Youth

2010 marks the Centenery year for UK Youth, the leading youth work charity in the UK.  The charity supports over 750,000 young people nationwide helping them to develop their personal potential through a variety of non-formal education programmes.

The projects developed by UK Youth encourage social inclusion, helping some of the UK's most disadvantaged and isolated young people to build self esteem and realise their full potential.

UK Youth tackles the important issues in the lives of young people such as: coping with family break-up, bullying, how to say no to drink and drugs, support for young mothers, help for young carers and road safety.
